It's just about that time! The Four State Comic-Con Fall 2018 edition opens tomorrow at 11AM! We are all super excited and can't wait to see you all there. We have a lot of exciting things planned for you including Celebrity Guests, Cosplay Guests, Cosplay Contest, Panels & of course all of our amazing Vendors!
CELEBRITY GUESTS
We are proud to have some pretty awesome celebrity guests this year including:
Eric Roberts
"Eric Roberts is an Academy Awards nominee for his role in Runaway Train and a three-time Golden Globes nominee for Runaway Train, Star 80 and King of the Gypsies. He also won a Golden Satellite Award for the 2002 season of Less Than Perfect.
He also made a profound impact in the Emmy nominated television adaptation of Truman Capote’s In Cold Blood, directed by Jonathan Kaplan and co-starring Anthony Edwards and starred in La Cucaracha, which won Best Film at the Austin Film Festival in 1998, and for which Eric won Best Actor in the New York Independent Film Festival that same year. Eric’s starring role in the film, It’s My Party, received critical acclaim at the 1996 Sundance Film Festival.
Eric has diversified very recently, appearing in Mr. Brightside and Miss Atomic Bomb videos for The Killers, Mariah Carey’s video for Emancipation of Mimi – Both award winners, and the Akon and Eminem video for Smack That .
Other notable performances include his roles in Final Analysis, The Pope of Greenwich Village, Raggedy Man, Babyfever, Heaven’s Prisoners, The Specialist and The Grave.
Eric Roberts was recently seen in Christopher Nolan’s Batman – The Dark Knight , along with one of the most incredible casts ever assembled. This follows a stint on Heroes – A job that ranks as one of Eric’s favorites. Eric strives to be associated with more comedy, hence will be appearing in a Larry The Cable Guy movie, Witless Protection.
Mindy Sterling
Emmy Nominee Mindy Sterling is a huge success with her work crossing all levels of the industry. From being the most memorable character in the Austin Powers franchise, Frau Farbissina, to starring in iCarly, A.N.T Farm, Con Man, Secs and Execs, The Legend of Korra, and SO MUCH MORE.
Eddie Deezen
Eddie Deezen is an actor, voice actor and comedian best known for his parts as nerd characters in 1970s and 1980s films such as Grease & Grease 2, Midnight Madness, I Wanna Hold Your Hand, 1941 & WarGames as well as for larger and starring roles in a number of independent cult films including Surf II: The End of the Trilogy, Mob Boss, Beverly Hills Vamp and Teenage Exorcist.
As a voice actor, he is easily recognizable for his distinctively high-pitched and nasal voice, most notably used for the characters of Mandark in the Cartoon Network series Dexter's Laboratory, Snipes the Magpie in Rock-A-Doodle, Ned in Kim Possible and the Know-It-All Kid in The Polar Express.

LaineyCat Cosplay
LaineyCat is a Maryland based cosplayer who started cosplaying in 2012.
Crafting, propmaking and petting cats, she loves video games, anime, comics and horror. She loves creating mashups, gender bends and original designs for characters and creatures she loves!
When not cosplaying, Lainey enjoys hoarding Funko Pops and other action figures (Gremlins, Star Wars, Spider-Man just to name the big few). As well as binging entire anime series.
Megami Cupcake
Megami is an up and coming costume designer, model and a huge gamer. Her creations range from anime to video game fandoms, along with her own original designs. She discovered the world of cosplay in 2016 and has become completely addicted. Many of her costumes include intricate sewing and armor making. Megami has been invited to appear as a guest and judge at local conventions. Her creations have won awards and have been published in cosplay magazines. Through her passion and hard work, she hopes to continue to level up her skills while showing everyone how much fun dressing up can be!
Megami has served as a judge for the last two Four State Comic-Con cosplay contests and took BEST IN SHOW at our very first convention!
Kayley Marie Cosplay
Many of you already know another Four State Comic-Con regular cosplayer, Kayley Marie!
To sum up one of our favorites, she is a Cosplayer, Geek Girl, Artist, Shaper of young minds, Hylian Warrior & Asgardian!
Hero For A Day Cosplay
Hero For A Day Cosplay is a Central PA Cosplayer, member of Central PA Heroes Coalition (a cosplayer charity group giving back to the community), real life hermit, and crafter. The world of "costume play" re-ignited his love of art and creating. When he's not hard at work on costumes and props, he's relaxing with his kitty, watching movies and anime.
Monique Dupree
Monique Gata Dupree is an independent/underground entertainment Icon, primed for the mainstream. She cameos, introduces, co-stars or stars in over 85 films, television shows, web series and nationwide wrestling events to date.
Maiacat Cosplay
Maiacat Cosplay was our Best In Show Cosplay Contest Winner from our Spring 2018 Convention! She will have a table on Sunday. Maiacat is a South-Central PA-based curvy amateur cosplayer with an affinity for armor builds! She prides herself on making budget-friendly but badass-looking cosplays. She is an avid gamer, artist, and anime-watcher and loves creating cosplays from the fandoms she enjoys most. One of her favorite things to cosplay are original characters because they offer the most creative freedom in design.

To register for the Cosplay Contest, please visit the registration table located in Cosplay Alley. Registration is open from 11am-3PM.
-Best in Show- $150 Con Cash, Sunday Table at the spring show, and a photo session from Incursio* -Team 1st place- $100 in Con Cash. -Child(14 and Under) 1st place- $50 Con Cash and $20 Con Cash to 2nd place -Teen/Adult- 1st place- $50 Con Cash and $20 Con Cash to 2nd place -Masters- (placed in any cosplay contest or received monetary payment for Cosplay Services) 1st place-$50 Con Cash and $20 Con Cash to 2nd place.
PRE-JUDGING IS MANDATORY AND WILL TAKE PLACE AT 4PM IN THE PANEL ROOM. If you do not show up for pre-judging, even though you registered, you will not be able to participate in the contest. All contest entries must report to the panel room for Pre-Judging! THIS IS NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, THIS IS LIMITED TO CONTESTANTS ONLY. Parents of registrants in the "childrens" category may accompany their child.
